Chances are that you travel with your motorhome to Luxembourg because of its beautiful nature. Among others, the Müllerthal is a beautiful nature reserve. This is where the Müllerthal walking route runs, a route of 112 kilometres in total. This route is for all levels and can also be divided into smaller stages. The route takes you past the most beautiful rocks, castles and gorges, all of which you will come across frequently during a campervan trip in this region. The Haff-Reimich nature reserve in the Moselle region of the country is also recommended. Here you can take your motorhome to enjoy the most delicious Luxembourgish wines and a good walk! Motorhome stopovers in Luxembourg

Although the country is not overflowing with motorhome stopovers, there is plenty to discover during your campervan trip. For example, in the beautiful and characteristic city of Luxembourg, you will find a campervan pitch that serves as a basis for both wonderful walks in the surrounding nature and a short distance from the city itself. Thus, you can perfectly combine city and nature during your campervan trip through Luxembourg. The mix of ancient and modern life can be felt on every street corner, making it a special destination by motorhome. In the Luxembourg Ardennes, too, there are a number of beautiful campervan sites that serve as a very good starting point for hikes along the Sûre.

Motorhome routes through Luxembourg

In Luxembourg there are several beautiful campervan routes that you can drive. Due to the size of the country, you can, for example, easily travel from north to south along the highlights of the country by campervan. And if you drive the route Petit Suisse, you will pass the most beautiful nature of Luxembourg with your campervan in only 52 kilometres. Along the route you can easily stop with the motorhome for a walk. Or stop at one of the castles you encounter. If you want to visit more castles during your motorhome journey through Luxembourg, you can do so in the Valley of the Seven Castles. During a route along these castles you go from Mesch to Colpach and pass - indeed - seven impressive castles! Please note that for some castles on this motorhome route, you first have to take a short walk before you reach the castle. And with the beautiful green surroundings, this is certainly not a punishment!
