This site is all about location! Only two minute walk into town. Amazing view from the van. Carrte Foure market next the carpark and toilets are a minute walk to the next carpark. A bit noisy in the evening but music stopped around 10 ish. Cold at night even in July.
We arrived late in the evening at this impressive car park, we took our bikes to ride into town but it was a 2 minute walk. The town has excellent restaurants and shops. We really want to return to this site, although it is louder in the morning due to all the tourists, the scenery is jaw dropping!
Stayed here overnight as the tunnel was closed. Loads of space to park but no services available as stated (water, gray waste, toilet) Also VERY noisy from traffic.

We arrived at around 3pm on 21/05/18 and the car park was quiet, with maybe 10 vans in total. Very short walk into the town, and walking trails accessible directly from the car park. A bit of road noise, but we had a peaceful night. There's fresh water and grey water dump. The app states that there is chemical toilet disposal, but there isn't. The nearby public WC was closed and appeared to have been vandalised. There were clean, free toilets at the nearby cable car station, which may be open depending on the season. Overall not bad, the price has gone up to 14€ for 24 hours.
If I could give this parking space 10 stars I would! I did stay a day and half and for the location this a perfectly situated parking space, right next to Chamonix town centre, and I mean 2 min walk to get right in the centre of the this picturesque town. Right next to the famous cable car that takes you right to the top of Mt.Blanc too. As this is a public and very touristy car park, (access by credit card) is used by cars and motorhome alike, it gets very quickly full by 10:00am but it gets a lot less busy late in the evening after 5-6pm. So I highly recommend to turn up after 6pm and you should find plenty of parking spaces for your motorhome and will get you nicely settled in for a very impressive early morning scenery views. There are fresh water and waste dumping but very basic facilities, but still very much worth it visiting the place.
