The surroundings
Vienna, Austria's most important and largest city, and Vienna's Old Town exudes this in all its colors and scents. Be blown away by huge palaces, numerous museums and the most beautiful squares and historic streets in the Old Town. During your visit to the inner city, you will find one of the most beautiful opera houses; the "Vienna State Opera. You will find even more opera houses in the city, which is no wonder because Vienna is known for its many classical concerts. One of the most famous is perhaps the New Year's concert! Of course, a visit to Empress Sisi's palace is not to be missed when you go to Vienna by motorhome. Go inside and walk through the rooms of the palace. Afterwards, stroll through the castle garden and be sure to hike up for a beautiful view of the palace and the city of Vienna!

Walking
Would you like to alternate your visit to the city with a walk through nature? In the surroundings of Vienna you can enjoy hiking, such as in the Donau-Auen National Park. Hike the "Lobau loop" here, a 10.8-kilometer trail where you will encounter beautiful meadows combined with traces of World War II industry!
Another nature reserve in the area is Wienerwald; from the Unter-Sievering district, you can take a delightful walk there through the most beautiful forests with various viewpoints. A stop that should definitely not be missed during this walk is the 27-meter high tower "Habsburgwarte. Here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the entire city of Vienna. Don't forget your camera to capture this special moment!
Do you prefer to stay in the city? Then you can also discover it on foot! Right in the city center you can follow the famous walking route along the boulevard in Vienna, the 'Ringstrasse'. This is a 6.5-kilometer walk that takes you past all the famous historic buildings in the center and the boulevard in one fell swoop. From the Vienna State Opera to the Burgtheater and from the Museum of Fine Arts to the Palace of Justice of Vienna.

Cycling
Get on your bike from the motorhome-trip and go out into nature! You cycle in half an hour from your motorhome to the Perchtoldsdorf Heide. Cycle at your leisure across the heath and enjoy all the greenery around you and the beautiful viewpoints over Vienna. Make sure you cycle all the way to the end of Schutzhausstraße. Here drop your bike and take a 20-minute walk from the hiking trail through the moors to café Franz-Ferdinand-Hütte. Take a seat and enjoy a well-deserved cup of coffee with the typical fresh Viennese pie ‘Sachertorte’ or for the big appetite: a delicious Wiener schnitzel. And the best part is, from the outdoor terrace you also have a wonderful view of Vienna again.
