The best motorhome destinations in Europe in February!
February offers countless motorhome travel opportunities in Europe. Whether you seek out the snow, enjoy the winter sun or take a romantic city break, it's all possible! Discover three European destinations worth visiting in February, with tips on activities and motorhome stays!
Culture with a touch of snow in Turin
Located in north-west Italy, Turin is often – literally – snowed under by other large cities in northern Italy, such as Milan or Venice. Between the peaks of the Italian and French Alps, this city is the ideal base for a city trip with a touch of winter sports.
Strolling through the city you will experience Baroque history, yet Turin is certainly not inferior to other Italian gems in terms of architecture. For example, visit the imposing Mole Antonelliana, with its height of 167 metres once the tallest building in the world. You might not expect it, but this originally intended synagogue now houses the Museo Nazionale del Cinema: an interactive museum that takes you through the history of everything related to films and cinemas. A glass lift also runs right through la Mole's dome, taking you to the top of the tower. On a clear day, you can see the Alps rising above the city in all their glory! In February, it can still get quite cold in Turin, so warm up with a glass of bicerin at Turin's oldest café, Al Bicerin, where Alexandre Dumas, Nietzsche and Puccini, among others, already took their seats for good conversation, conviviality and inspiration. This coffee with chocolate and cream, in fact, is served in such large chalices that it will warm you up well, so that you can continue exploring the city afterwards!
Spend the night in Turin at Parco Ruffini or Parking Caio Mario. The city is a stone's throw from both the Italian and French Alps. In an hour and a half, you are at the foot of ski resorts Bardonecchia and Via Lattea, and the French areas of Serre Chevalier and Chamonix-Mont-Blanc can also be reached in two to three hours.

- Stroll through the city and, on a clear day, even inhabit the Alps!
Find winter sun in Valencia
Wintering under the Spanish sun is becoming increasingly popular, but in Valencia you won't be bothered by the crowds in February! Although this city scores high as an ideal winter location with 300 sunny days a year, Valencia is still fairly undiscovered in terms of popularity. But there is plenty to do! You will find a fine combination of beach, park and city; perfect for experiencing the outdoor city life and getting a tan on your skin.
In winter, the población local will be rarely seen on the beach and you can take long walks here in peace and quiet, but for some more liveliness, head to Turia Park. This nearly ten-kilometre-long park surrounds Valencia's old town and is not to be missed. With a good number of paths, cafes and sights, you won't have to get bored in Turia Park. Neither do the locals, so for a lesson in culture in nature, this is the place to be. Walking, cycling, segway or canoeing, you will discover the finest spots of the park, where you can enjoy some snacks in the sun.
'Valencia offers something for everybody!'
Venture out into the narrow streets of the historic centre, with the Catedral de La Seu and El Miguelete as eye-catchers and shining landmarks. Stroll around the fresh food market Mercado Central and test your senses by viewing, smelling and tasting delicacies from the region, which of course can also be done in one of the cosy (tapas) bars the city has to offer. Still not done walking? Then go in search of photo-worthy street art - as there is plenty of it - and let the photographer in you emerge. In short: there is something for everyone in Valencia!
Park your motorhome at Valencia Camper Park or Valencia Caravan Park. You can also choose a more quiet motorhome stopover outside the city, such as Bungalowpark Albufera in El Saler or Nomadic Valencia Camping Car in Albalat dels Sorells.

- Ook 's avonds is El Miguelete prachtig om te zien!
Celebrate love in romantic Paris
On 14 February, Cupid hits the mark and the whole world celebrates Valentine's Day! Although myths and stories about the origin of this day of love mostly lie in Italy, the French city of Paris has nevertheless been labelled the city of love. So no better place to celebrate love with your Valentine!
For a romantic walk through the city, follow the banks of the river Seine, past Notre-Dame on the Île de la Cité, the Louvre and the Pont des Arts love bridge. Legends say that attaching a lock to the bars of this bridge, after which the key is thrown into the Seine, will ensure that you and your great love stay together forever. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible these days, but thankfully it does not lessen the city's romantic atmosphere. In fact, places full of atmosphères romantiques can still be found all over the city! The Montmartre district, for instance, is all about romance in its flower-decorated streets. Visit the Place du Tetre for a journey into art (history), stroll the cobblestones along le mur des je t'aime and climb the steps of the Sacré-Cœur to watch a magical sunset together. Love goes through the stomach, so you will complete your romantic motorhome trip to Paris with a croissant from a boulangerie, a cup of coffee at a typical French café and a dîner pour deux at one of the many restaurants. En route pour le Paris romantique !
Near the centre of Paris, stay overnight at motorhome stopover Park My Truck. You can also park your motorhome around the city, for example at Parking Disneyland Paris or in Meaux at Parc du Pâtis.

- Start your romantic day in Paris off right with a French breakfast and a view of the Eiffel Tower!
