On Germany's northern coast, bordering the Wadden Sea, you will find the town of Bensersiel. As a recognised spa town and also a popular seaside resort, this is a must for water lovers. Once you have seen the Nordseetherme Bensersiel, with its adventure pool, whirlpools and saunas, you can walk straight onto the beach. Great fun!

On the northern edge of National Park Harz lies the town of Bad Harzburg. Besides being a base for hikers heading into the Harz, the town is also an official spa town.
