Highlights on your motorhome journey to Belgium

The inner city of the Belgian Bruges is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. A good reason for a visit with the camper van. At the Historium, you will learn everything about the former city. In addition, the Beguinage is a popular location. In the past, 'beguines', single women, lived here. Nowadays, when you walk around the court, you will see nuns walking around here. In Bruges, you can also enjoy all the good things the city has to offer, from the most delicious beers at the Bruges Beer Museum to fries at the Frietmuseum. Or get a real Brussels waffle and enjoy it while strolling along the city canals!

The breweries of Belgium

When you think of Belgium, one of the first things that comes to mind is Belgian beer. So it's a must to visit several breweries during your campervan trip! In Achouffe you will find the brewery of the well-known beer with the goblin, La Chouffe. You can take a guided tour of the brewery and, of course, taste a delicious beer afterwards. In Antwerp, you will also find city brewery De Koninck where you can follow an interactive tour and in Dinant you can visit the Maison Leffe, the brewery of the Leffe beer that has been brewed since 1240.

In this list of sights to see when visiting Belgium by motorhome, a visit to the capital is a must. The Atomium is one of the sights not to be missed. This steel monument consists of 9 spheres connected to each other. Don't miss out on the symbol of Brussels either, the statue of Manneke Pis! You can admire the Manneke in the vicinity of the Grand Place. Belgium is also known for its many comic strips. In Brussels you can take a walk or a bike ride along the comic book walls where your favourite characters are portrayed.

Welcome to the smallest city in the Belgian Ardennes: Durbuy! The city has proclaimed itself the smallest city in the world. Time to visit with the camper van! When strolling through the historical streets, you step back in time. You will admire the most beautiful 17th-century houses. If you would like to admire the natural beauty of the Ardennes, you can take lovely walks and cycle rides in the area. The most special point is perhaps the Falize rock. This enormous rock is thousands of years old! If you would like to admire the nature from the water, you can also rent a canoe in the area to sail up the Ourthe.
