The World Cup has started! Even if the players are far away in Qatar, we can easily stay in the football-vibe. Europe is the heart of football, one stadium is even bigger than the other. In this article, we composed an itinerary that takes you to the most beautiful football stadiums of Europe!

Signal Iduna Park - Dortmund

In 2014, Germany took the title of world champion home. This year, as well, they will be present in Qatar. It is expected that the German team wil make it far into the race. So, let's start our motorhome journey in Germany! Right across the border from Venlo, we'll drive to Dortmund. Here you'll find Signal Iduna Park, home-base of Borussia Dortmund. The club is known for their fanatic supporters and infamous drinking-tribune ''Die Gelbe Wand''. About 80.000 supporters come to the stadium to support their favourite football club. Though they did not manage to take home a title the past years, the atmosphere in this stadium is very good! Every game is a party! Stay at Dürrwang GmbH & Co, before heading to the next German city: München.

Allianz Arena – Munich

One of the best football clubs in Germany might be Bayern München. The last ten years of the Bundesliga - the German national football league - weren't very exhilarating. The club from Munich has won the league with ease 10 times in a row. Their home-base is Allianz Arena. This stadium opened its doors in 2005, and replaced the Olympic Stadium. In 2024, Germany will host the European championships in this arena. The best part: there is a motorhome stopover right next to the arena! Wake up next to the gigantic arena at Allianz-Arena Wohnmobilstellplätze.
