Fantastic site, park great, level pitches, note dogs not allowed on buses so we taxi'd into porto & back...helpful staff, toilets in the park building but not 24hrs. Level pitch, park for the kids, big grassed area behind pitches for dog walks...super!
Lovely camperstop. E19 with free access to Gardens and a bus to the Porto old town. Only 9 sites, all hedged and private. Gates are locked all the time. No showers or toilets. Staff helpful
Not wishing to have our motor home broken into in the “free parking” areas nearer to Porto we decided to stay at this park. Behind locked gates we felt very safe and confident in leaving our vehicle. 19 euros also included services, electricity and a pass into the park which was excellent. We commuted by scooter to Porto which took about 15 minutes.
This is a gem! Wonderful location in the grounds of a wildlife park. Well maintained pitches with a good service area, the sound from the park animals is enough to distract you from the snoring of your co traveller but not enough to disturb. The staff are both attentive and polite and for €15 you get access to the park for two people and all facilities. The pitches are secure, behind a gate to which you are given keys, security is available 24/7 should there be any problems. There's a bus from just outside the park into Porto (€4.40 for two, one way), and like most buses it will drop you off at the same place on your return from shopping and site seeing I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
Good rest area, some problems to run with campers over 7 meters. It is not written that in addition to the € 4 per person we must add the € 7 for the camper, current, unloading and loading plus visit to the park, included in the price. Too bad that the planes are antaño some dogs in the neighborhood.
